The Art of the Craftsman comes to life in Paris as Design PH brings together 12 distinct brands to represent the Philippines at Maison et Objet on 06 – 10 September 2013 at the Paris Nord Villepinte. This time around, the focus is on CSM Philippines’ Mayumi and what the brand will be showcasing at the world’s biggest trade event for interior design.
From humble roots, CSM Philippines started out of owner Clemente Manrique’s backyard. Today, CSM Philippines is known for the distinct hand-craftsmanship and simple beauty of its fine bone china products. CSM Philippines takes pride in the authenticity of its products, working with porcelain clay and recycled animal bone ash to create products that are handcrafted, luminous, and of exceptional quality. With its Mayumi brand, the company is reinventing its products, evoking the look of weaving through fine bone china and injecting color from the once all-white creations.
Design PH will also feature the design-forward creations of Betis Crafts, Industria Home, Ito Kish, LUISA Home, MASAECO, Peter and Paul, Inc., Schema by Kalikasan Crafts, Tadeco Home,Triboa Bay Living, Vito Selma, and Kenneth Cobonpue’s Hive.
