Design Philippines Checks in at The Hotel Show 2013

Traversing borders and taking the country’s design and craftsmanship to the emerging markets of the world, Design Philippines presents The Art of the Craftsman to the global city that is Dubai. For the first time, the country brand Design Philippines checks in at The Hotel Show, 28 – 30 September 2013 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Design Philippines will showcase a distinct brand of design, authentic craftsmanship, and innovative use of indigenous materials through furniture and furnishings crafted by some of the best design-forward manufacturers that embody what The Art of the Craftsman is: Philippine-made products with unparalleled handcraftsmanship created by the skilled artisans, transforming natural materials into creations that embody the merging of tradition and modernity.

In this first collective presentation to tap the hospitality market of the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) region, The Hotel Show provides an avenue where Philippine exporters can get in touch with potentially lucrative opportunities with the movers and shakers in the global hotel industry.

Design Philippines will bring together collections from Catalina Embroideries Inc., Cebu Fil-Veneer Corporation, Craft Mill, Inc., Dale Mathis, Diretso Philippines Inc., The Gilded Expressions, Lightworks Resources, Maze Manufacturing, More Than a Chair, Inc., and Padua International.
